Red yeast rice to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and support cardiovascular health

Help promote healthy lipid particle size and number through this naturally occurring red-pigmented yeast found in red yeast rice. Without standardisation or fortification, red yeast rice provides monacolins, phytosterols, and isoflavones for the maintenance of healthy lipid levels.

Red yeast rice is obtained by a well-known process that ferments rice. One of the natural by-products of the rice fermentation process is citrinin, which is a mycotoxin. Although the sophisticated fermentation process used by our supplier results in a very low amount of citrinin being produced as a by-product, because mycotoxins can cause inflammation and other adverse effects in the body, Thorne provides practitioner-customers and their patients with the assurance that their red yeast rice products contain only a minimal, yet acceptable amount of citrinin.

With numerous studies in China and the United States, it has been concluded that preparations of red yeast rice help to maintain blood cholesterol levels already in the normal range. With 50-percent more red yeast rice than our Choleast product, Choleast-900 requires fewer capsules for easier supplementation and optimal natural management of healthy cholesterol levels.

Combine Thorne’s Choleast-900 with a healthy whole-food diet and a lifestyle high in aerobic exercise, allows the same enzymes involved in the synthesis of cholesterol to be involved in the synthesis of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which helps maintain normal levels of CoQ10.

This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Choleast-900 contains an ingredient derived from soy.

Additional Warnings:

This investigation process can take up to 6 weeks. In 95% of cases, your package will be found and delivered to you. If the package is not delivered to you, we will discuss your insurance options and potential replacement options (this will vary from order to order).

We are dedicated to delivering your purchase to your door at the as soon as possible. Over 80% of orders are delivered within 1-5 business days, with some deliveries taking up to 10 business days depending on your location.

We ship from Melbourne, so for most Melbourne customers, you should expect your delivery promptly.
For South Australian, New South Wales and Queensland customers, we ask you to add 1-2 more days to get your package to you. For our customers in Western Australia and Darwin, expect a minimum of 5 business days for regular shipments. Express postage significantly speeds up delivery times for Western Australian customers, but generally still takes about 3 days.

Making a return is really simple:

Pack your order and send it back to our returns warehouse (you will be provided with a delivery address)
Once we receive your return, it can take up to 3 business days to process your refund. You will be refunded through the same payment method used to make the purchase.

If the product is not in good condition, and/or does not meet the description on our online web-shop, you are entitled to a full refund or remedy. A remedy could be a replacement product. Please contact us if you feel your consumer rights have been breached and we will do everything to help.
